WALKER - Meijer Inc. is recalling fresh hamburger from Michigan stores after wholesaler JBS Swift was identified as a potential source of E coli. Specifically, Meijer has recalled the following items: FRESH HAMBURGER - UPC 20165500000 with "sell by" dates of April 26, 2009-June 19, 2009 and "freeze/use by" dates of April 27, 2009-June 20, 2009 (Michigan stores only) FRESH GROUND BEEF - UPC 201668000 with "sell by" dates of April 26, 2009-June 19, 2009 and "freeze/use by" dates of April 27, 2009-June 20, 2009 (stores in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky) Customers who have purchased these products should destroy the product or return them to any Meijer location for a full refund.
